Join Lancaster artist Sarah Hawkins for an intimate evening of guided abstract painting.
Sarah’s painting process often begins with a feeling, conversation, memory, or version of herself she’s ready to release. This experience invites you to explore that process for yourself, translating something you’re carrying onto canvas without the pressure to make it “perfect.”
Settle in with your drink and charcuterie, then explore reflective prompts and creative experiments. You might blindly choose a color, turn your canvas in a new direction, or draw inspiration from a memory.
No painting experience is needed. There’s no predetermined image to recreate, and you choose how deeply to explore. Let the work be personal, playful, messy, or surprising. You don’t need to explain it or share your story.
A playlist will accompany the evening, but you’re welcome to bring headphones for your own soundtrack.
Your $60 ticket includes:
Guided abstract painting and reflective prompts
An 8×10 canvas to take home
All painting supplies
One glass of wine or a nonalcoholic mocktail or Italian soda
Charcuterie
Please wear something you’re comfortable getting paint on and note any food allergies or dietary restrictions when booking so we can discuss accommodations with Vine Bar.
Tickets are nonrefundable but may be transferred to another person. Please notify us before the event with their name and any dietary requirements. If the organizer cancels the event, tickets will be refunded.
