This piece was created while listening to Broncho’s “Big City Boys,” shortly after a trip to New York. I kept replaying the brisk, cold air on my face, the phone call home to my love, quietly giving name to something that didn’t have one yet, but in my head only. Uttering it aloud would be too much.
This piece is a celebration of the exhaustion, joy, and adrenaline of choosing life together.
